The first of a limited edition, Silent Battle, a life sized bronze sculpture travels the country with The Eyes of Freedom. Created by artist, Anita Miller who painted the Eyes of Freedom portraits, this powerful work depicts a serviceman holding the dog tag of his fallen brother, this sculpture recognizes the profound challenges of navigating life after combat, not only for the Veteran but for their family. Leaving a dog tag in remembrance of a loved one brings comfort and honor to their gift of service.
Public awareness brings gratitude and healing to communities that have suffered the loss of Veterans in combat or at home. This art provides an opportunity to honor and recognize these Vets and their families.
Silent Battle would be appropriate in Veteran's Parks, town squares, VFW and American Legion Posts and even in public or private gardens.
